Ajmal Kasab HANGED

Ajmal Kasab hanged at Yerwada Jail in Pune at 7:30am

NEW DELHI: In a secret operation, LeT terrorist and 26/11 attacks accused Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab was hanged in the high-security Yerwada Jail in Pune at 7:30am today after a four-year-long trial. Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan said he was buried inside the Yerwada Jail at 9.30am.

Union home secretary R K Singh said: "Family members of Kasab informed about the hanging through a letter sent by courier." The lone surviving terrorist in the Mumbai attack of November 26, 2008 was shifted to the Yerwada Jail following the rejection of his mercy petition by the President earlier on November 5.

Home minister Sushil Shinde said: "Ajmal Kasab was hanged at 7:30am. It took the Maharashtra government less than two weeks to hang Kasab after President Pranab Mukherjee rejected his mercy petition on November 5. Two days later, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde signed on the file. It was sent to the Maharashtra government on November 8 and November 21, today, was fixed as the date of execution."

According to Maharashtra home minister R R Patil: "26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Ajmal Kasab's mercy petition was rejected on November 8. He also confirmed that Kasab was hanged at about 7:30am on Wednesday.

"The punishment to Kasab is a true tribute to the victims and martyrs of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks," Patil said.

Meanwhile, home minister Sushil Shinde said: "Indian mission in Islamabad informs Pakistangovernment about Kasab's hanging through letter. Pakistan refuses to take the letter, which was then faxed."

The entire process was executed very secretly, the home minister said.

"Yes, Kasab has been hanged this (Wednesday) morning at 7.30am in Yerawada Central Jail," Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, who led the 26/11 terror attacks case.

In January 2010, nine of Kasab's associates, who had sneaked into Mumbai on the night of Nov 26, 2008, to unleash three days of terror, were quietly buried at an undisclosed location near Mumbai.

Kasab's end came just five days before the fourth anniversary of the brutal terror attacks that killed 166 lives and injured 300.

Yash Chopra DEAD ! King of Romance is No More

Legendary Bollywood filmmaker Yash Chopra, 80, passes away on Sunday evening at the Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, where he was being treated for dengue for the past one week.

Chopra, who was popularly known as the ‘King of Romance’ for his several films in that genre, directed some of the best Bollywood films .
Born on September 27, 1932 in Lahore, Chopra began his career as an assistant director to his older brother BR Chopra and filmmaker IS Johar.
In the five-decade long career that followed, Chopra made romantic films like Silsila, Kabhi Kabhi, Chandni, Lamhe, Dil Toh Pagal Hai and Veer Zaara.
Chopra, who has won six National Film Awards and 11 Filmfare awards, including four Filmfare Award for best director, was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan in 2005 for his contributions towards Indian cinema.
Chopra’s first film was Dhool Ka Phool in 1959, which was about illegitimacy, and he continued making several socially hard-hitting films, including Dharmaputra.
His action thriller Deewar established superstar Amitabh Bachchan as the 'angry young man'. Chopra was the one who began the concept of multi-starrers in Waqt (1965).
His last movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma is scheduled for release during Diwali.
He still had to shoot a song for the film in Switzerland, a destination Chopra made popular among cinegoers in India.
Yash Raj Chopra (27 September 1932 – 21 October 2012[1]) was an Indian film directorscreenwriter and film producer, predominantly working inHindi cinema. Chopra began his career as an assistant director to I.S. Johar and his elder brother, B.R. Chopra. He made his directorial debut withDhool Ka Phool in 1959, a melodrama about illegitimacy and followed it with the hard-hitting social drama Dharmputra (1961). Encouraged by the success of both films, the Chopra brothers made several more movies together during the late fifties and sixties. Chopra then rose to prominence after the commercially and critically successful drama, Waqt (1965), which pioneered the concept of multi-starters in Bollywood.
In 1973, Chopra founded his own production company, Yash Raj Films, and launched it with Daag: A Poem of Love (1973), a successful melodrama about a polygamous man. His success continued in the seventies, with some of Indian cinema's most successful and iconic films, including the action thriller Deewar (1975) which established Amitabh Bachchan as the "angry young man" of Bollywood, the romantic drama Kabhi Kabhie (1976) andTrishul (1978). The eighties marked a professional setbacks in Chopra's career as several films he directed and produced in that period failed to leave a mark at the Indian box office, notably Silsila (1981), Mashaal (1984) and Vijay (1988). However, in 1989, Chopra directed the commercially and critically successful cult film Chandni which became instrumental in ending the era of violence in Bollywood and bringing back music into Hindi films.
Chopra then directed and produced the cult classic Lamhe in 1991. Considered by critics and Chopra himself as his best work to date. The film was critically acclaimed and became one of the biggest Bollywood hits in the overseas market. Chopra followed it with the box-office hit and trend setterDarr (1993). Starring the then-débutant Shahrukh Khan, it showed a sympathetic look at obsessive love and defied the image of the conventional hero. Since then, Chopra directed three more romantic films, all starring Khan; Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Veer-Zaara (2004) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) before he announced his retirement from directing in 2012. Chopra is chairman and founder of both the motion picture production and distribution company Yash Raj Films which ranks as India's biggest production company as of 2006 and the Yash Raj Studios.
Chopra's career has spanned over five decades and over 50 films. He is considered among one of the greatest filmmakers in the history of Hindi cinema. Chopra has won several film awards, including six National Film Awards and eleven Filmfare awards including four Filmfare Award for Best Director. The Government of India honoured him with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan in 2005 for his contributions towards Indian cinema. BAFTA presented him with a lifetime membership for his contribution to the films, making him the first Indian to receive the honour in the 59-year history of the academy. His last movie was Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).

Oppa is Gangnam style
Gangnam style
A girl who is warm and humanle during the day
A classy girl who know how to enjoy the freedom of a cup of coffee
A girl whose heart gets hotter when night comes
A girl with that kind of twist
I’m a guy
A guy who is as warm as you during the day
A guy who one-shots his coffee before it even cools down
A guy whose heart bursts when night comes
That kind of guy
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh
A girl who looks quiet but plays when she plays
A girl who puts her hair down when the right time comes
A girl who covers herself but is more sexy than a girl who bares it all
A sensable girl like that
I’m a guy
A guy who seems calm but plays when he plays
A guy who goes completely crazy when the right time comes
A guy who has bulging ideas rather than muscles
That kind of guy
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style

iPhone 5

Apple unveiled iPhone 5 - the hotly anticipated 6th generation iPhone at the media event on September 12.
We briefly told you about the new features and improvements of Apple's new iPhone that were announced at the event. But the devil is in the details, so we take an in-depth look at iPhone 5's new features and improvements.
Taller 4-Inch Display:
iPhone 5 features a 4-inch display (diagonal) - half an inch bigger than previous iPhone models. It is the first time Apple has increased the size of the screen since the original iPhone was launched in 2007. The 4-inch display is taller, but has the same width as iPhone 4S, so you will still be able to type with one hand; something Apple thought heavily about when designing the device. Apple believes that anything bigger would feel oversized, awkward, and hard to use.
The display comes with the same stunning Retina pixel density of 326 dots per inch (dpi) as iPhone 4S. The taller 4-inch display increases the resolution of the screen to 1136X640 (from 960x640). It creates enough space for a 5th row of icons (excluding the Dock) on the Home screen. It also means that you can see more of a webpage, more events in your Calendar etc.
iPhone 5 features a 16:9 aspect ratio compared to iPhone 4S' 4:3 aspect ratio. This is great for watching videos as you will be able to play movies in full widescreen format without any black bars at the top and bottom.
Apple has also used in-cell display technology in iPhone 5. The technology integrates touch sensors into the LCD, which eliminates the need of a separate touch screen layer. The absence of a separate touch screen layer not only helps to make the screen thinner, but it also improves the quality of displayed images. Colors get a boost, too, with color saturation that’s 44 percent greater than before.
What's amazing, though, is that despite the increase in height, the iPhone 5's physical volume has actually decreased by more than 12 percent. The iPhone 4S, with dimensions of 115.2mm x 58.6mm x 9.3mm, has a volume of 62.8 cubic cms, while the iPhone 5, with dimensions of 123.8mm x 58.6mm x 7.6mm, has a volume of 55.14 cubic cms.
Thinner and Lighter:
iphone-5-horizontal-shot
iPhone 5 is just 7.6 millimeters thin, which makes it 18% thinner than iPhone 4S. It is also 20% lighter than iPhone 4S at 112 grams.
Two-Tone Design:
iPhone 5 looks similar to the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4, but the back is made of anodized aluminum with inlays along the top and bottom made of ceramic glass (on the white and silver model) or pigmented glass (on the black and slate model), which gives it a cool two-tone effect.
A6 Chip:
iPhone 5 is powered by Apple's next generation A6 system-on-chip, which Apple says is twice as fast as A5 chip that powers iPhone 4S. The A6 chip also offers graphics performance that’s up to twice as fast as the A5 chip.
Apple's A6 chip is 22% smaller than the A5 chip. We will get more details about the A6 chip when iPhone 5 is disassembled next week, but AnandTech speculates that there is a good chance it is built on Samsung's 32nm LP HK+MG process. The 32-nm chip technology make chips more efficient, which in turn is supposed to improve battery life as we've seen with the tweaked $399 iPad 2.
The fact that Apple hasn't mentioned the cores seems to suggest that iPhone 5 is powered by a dual-core processor and not the rumored quad-core processor. But as AnandTech points out Apple reserves major Ax SoC number iterations for architecture changes, so it indicates that Apple has used ARM Cortex A15 processor cores as it is the next major jump for ARM architecture. Apple used Cortex-A8 processor cores in the A4 chip that powers iPhone 4 and Cortex-A9 processor cores in A5 chip that powers iPhone 4S. According to ARM, the Cortex-A15 MPCore processor is "is the highest-performance licensable processor the industry has ever seen."
We'll update this section when we get more details.
RAM:
iPhone 5 has 1GB RAM, twice that of iPhone 4S which has 512MB RAM. You can check this post for more details. Ultrafast Wireless:
iPhone 5 finally supports 4G LTE networks. Apple puts the download speeds at 100 Mbps - more than twice as fast as the 42 Mbps Apple says you can get from a 3G connection. But even though iPhone 5 may be capable of supporting those download speeds, you are unlikely to get those speeds in real world usage as a lot depends on proximity of towers, the strength of the network and assuming you have LTE network in your area.
Verizon and AT&T both say their LTE networks will deliver about 5 to 12 Mbps download speeds and 2 to 5 Mbps upload speeds. That’s two to four times higher than the rates AT&T expects even with its faster HSPA+ 3G deployments, and two to six times faster than Verizon’s current 3G network.
Unlike the new iPad, iPhone 5 will support 4G LTE networks outside U.S. and Canada. To support 4G LTE bands in various countries across the world, Apple as been forced to manufacture three separate models of the iPhone 5 - two GSM models and a CDMA model.
Here's a look at the frequency and the LTE bands that iPhone 5 will support:
  • GSM model A1428: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 4 and 17)
  • CDMA model A1429: CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (800, 1900, 2100 MHz); UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 13, 25)
  • GSM model A1429: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5)
Apple has announced that iPhone 5 will support the LTE networks in the 9 launch countries:
Apple also added support for HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA which means that iPhone 5 will be able to connect to networks that are faster than 3G when 4G LTE is not available.
iPhone 5 also offers dual-band 802.11n wireless connectivity, which should improve the Wi-Fi experience. iPhone 5 is the first iOS device to support Wi-Fi connections on 5GHz band, besides 2.4GHz. Apple says that iPhone 5 will deliver a maximum 150Mbps data rate.
Battery Life:
iPhone 5 offers the following battery life.
  • Talk time: Up to 8 hours on 3G
  • Standby time: Up to 225 hours
  • Internet use: Up to 8 hours on 3G, up to 8 hours on LTE, up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi
  • Video playback: Up to 10 hours
  • Audio playback: Up to 40 hours
iPhone 5 offers up to 225 hours of standby time compared to iPhone 4S' 200 hours of standby time. iPhone 5 offers up to 8 hours while browsing the internet over 3G, compared to iPhone 4S' 6 hours. iPhone 5 offers up to 10 hours of battery life while browsing the internet on a Wi-Fi network, compared to iPhone 4S' 9 hours.
It is commendable that Apple has managed to improve iPhone 5's battery life even though it comes with a bigger screen, faster A6 chip and power hungry 4G LTE radios.
Camera:
iPhone 5's back-facing camera has the same 8-megapixel, five-element lens with 2.4 aperture, which is similar to the iPhone 4S, but is 25% smaller. The camera also has the same 3,264 by 2,448 backside-illuminated sensor. The lens is protected by sapphire crystal, which Apple says is a lot more durable and clear. It comes with a new dynamic 'low-light' mode, which Dpreview explains "evaluates nearby pixels to give photographers up to two f-stops great performance in low light".
Apple has also improved iPhone 5's video recording capabilities. While the back-facing iSight camera allows you to record 1080p videos like iPhone 4S, the front-facing camera has been upgraded to allow you to record HD video (720p) up to 30 frames per second. It also means you can make FaceTime HD video calls. It comes with improved image stabalization to prevent shaky videos and the Face Detection feature (available while taking photos) is also available while you're recording. You will now be able to take still photos while you're recording videos.
It also comes with three microphones — one on the front, one on the back and one at the bottom of the device. The new microphones with improved noise cancellation and wideband audio should further enhance video recording capabilities. It also means clearer-sounding FaceTime calls.
The Camera app also comes with improvements including 40% faster photo capture, low-light performance as we explained earlier, and improved noise reduction.
One of the major new features is the new Panorama mode, which allows you to take multiple photos, which are then stitched together to create a panoramic photo of up to 28 megapixels. While there have been many apps that offer this feature, we love Apple's implementation of the feature.
To find out what this means to picture quality of the photos taken using iPhone 5's camera, check out this post.
Lightning Connector:
iPhone 5 comes with an all-new dock connector dubbed Lightning, which replaced the 30-pin dock connector that was first launched in 2003.
The obvious change is the size - the new Lightning dock connector is 80% smaller than the 30-pin dock connector. Phil schiller - Apple's Vice President of Worldwide marketing said that it simply wasn’t possible to build products as thin as the new iPhones and iPods without changing the dock connector.
It features an all-digital, eight-signal design. AnandTech explains what that means: "The basic conceit of this new connector is that at any point in time, not all the pins of the 30-pin connector were active. So, if a particular use case involved the charging pins and some audio pins, or the charging pins and USB pins, why not design a system that provides just enough pins for any given use case. The iPhone senses what pins are being requested and some on-device signaling sends the necessary bits over the available pins."
The Lightning connector is reversible, so it means that there’s no wrong way to plug in the cable, which is probably the biggest benefit from a consumer point of view. Apple claims that it is also more durable.
Apple has launched two adapters for the new Lightning connector to allow users to connect iPhone 5 to the older 30-pin accessories such as speakers, car chargers etc. and plans to launch Lightning to HDMI and Lightning to VGA adapters in the coming months. Check out this post for the details.
Enhanced Audio:
iPhone 5 supports wideband audio, which is commonly known by carriers as HD voice. It extends the frequency range of audio signals transmitted, resulting in  crisper word clarity and more natural sounding speech.
The feature will be supported by 20 carriers worldwide at launch, but U.S. Carriers are unlikely to support the feature.
iPhone 5 also comes with improved speaker design. It comes with three microphones: one on the front, one on the back, and one on the bottom. The front and back mics work together to achieve beamforming - a technique which Apple claims helps iPhone focus on sound from the desired location for clearer audio. iPhone 5 also comes with new noise-canceling technology, which reduces background noise.
iOS 6:
iPhone 5 will come pre-installed with iOS 6 - Apple's next generation mobile operating system, which comes with over 200 new features including an all-new Maps app, new Passbook appmajor improvements to Siri, Facebook integration, shared Photo Streams, improved Notification system, improved Mail app, improved Safari app and revamped Music, iTunes and App Store apps.
Nano-SIM
To achieve a thinner and compact design Apple has adopted the nano-SIM standard in iPhone 5. The nano-SIM design is 40 percent smaller than the micro-SIM design, which Apple continues to use in the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S.
The new nano-SIM card measures just 12.3 x 8.8mm, and its thickness has also been reduced fractionally, from 0.76mm to 0.67mm. We've heard that Apple's carrier partners have already been stocking up on these nano-SIM cards, so you will get one from your carrier.
It remains to be seen if it will be possible to convert the micro-SIM card to the nano-SIM, given the reduction in thickness. We'll get more clarity on this when the iPhone 5 is available next week.
EarPods:
iPhone 5 comes with a completely redesigned earbud-style headphones dubbed "EarPods."
Apple's engineers and designers took 3 years to come up with the design for these EarPods, scanning hundreds of users to look for common elements.
The EarPods, unlike other circluar earphones, are shaped so as to take into account the geometry of the ear, making it fit perfectly into the ear. The speakers in the EarPods point towards the ear canal. There are also an additional set of vents included in the EarPods to enhance midrange frequencies, and provide better and deeper bass.
Apple claims that the overall audio quality of Apple EarPods is so impressive, that they rival high-end headphones that cost hundreds of dollars more. You can find more details about EarPods here.
Other features:
  • Bluetooth 4.0
Color Options: iPhone 5 is available in black and white. Apple is calling the black model "Black & Slate" and the white one "White & Silver". Storage Capacities: iPhone 5 is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage capacities (same as iPhone 4S). Pricing:
iPhone 5 is available for $199 for the 16GB model, $299 for the 32GB model, $399 for the 64GB model for a two-year contract.
Unlocked iPhone 5:
Apple is also offering factory unlocked iPhone 5 in most of the launch countries, expect U.S. and Japan. Unlocked You can check out this post for the pricing details. iPhone 5 should be available in the U.S. sometime in October.
Availability:
iPhone 5 goes on sale in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore on September 21. Apple started taking pre-orders from September 14.

Here're some of the things that we still don't know about iPhone 5:
  • If the new A6 chip is dual-core or quad-core and what's the speed of the processor.

Ek Tha Tiger Movie Review

The Hindi film industry is not new to espionage themes. Rather, the secret agent thrillers date back to the 60s and 70s. Recall films like ANKHEN, INTERNATIONAL CROOK, FARZ, SPY IN ROME, JEWEL THIEF, also THE GREAT GAMBLER, SURAKKSHA, AGENT VINOD and GOPICHAND JASOOS…
Post WANTED, DABANGG and BODYGUARD, all Eid releases, Salman Khan and Yash Raj, the premier production house, unleash their first collaboration together, again on Eid. The Pied Piper of the Hindi film industry, who is on a dream run, delivering one Blockbuster after another, is expected to shatter previous records and set new ones at the box-office.
Is EK THA TIGER at par/better than the previous Salman starrers? All I’d say is that the comparisons, though inevitable, are erroneous. As a standalone film, EK THA TIGER is enthralling and most significantly, an entertaining motion picture. On the exterior, it is a compelling love story/thriller. But beneath the entertainment that it offers, it carries a message as well. Loud and clear. If the spectators can see through the coating, great. Even if they don’t, they will yet go back in high spirits.
Let me clarify, EK THA TIGER is not a ‘dark film’. No jingoism. No political statements. This is no James Bond duplication either. It reintroduces a megastar, who is at the pinnacle of his illustrious career, in a wholly new space. This one’s made by a desi, with desi sensibilities, but targeting the desi audience as well as those beyond the shores of the country. So, there!
In the dark world of intelligence and espionage, all information is guarded in the name of national security. But some stories escape the fiercely guarded classified files…
In a government employees’ neighbourhood in New Delhi, there lived a rugged, handsome and mysterious bachelor about whom his neighbours knew nothing. That was because he was India’s top spy, an officer with the Research and Analysis Wing [RAW]. This man was known even in official corridors as Tiger [Salman Khan].
Tiger is sent on a relatively easy and safe mission to Dublin, Ireland to observe a scientist of Indian origin [Roshan Seth], who is suspected of sharing his research findings with the Pakistan defence establishment. Tiger attempts to meet the scientist, but is not successful. He tries to befriend the scientist’s part-time home caretaker, Zoya [Katrina Kaif]. As Tiger begins to get closer to Zoya, he begins to discover his human side. For the first time in his life, Tiger falls in love…
What follows is a tumultuous journey that Tiger and Zoya embark upon, battling the dark world of intelligence and espionage that forbids its soldiers from falling in love.
Come to think of it, when you saunter into a cineplex to catch EK THA TIGER, what you want, more than anything else, is an adrenaline rush. Director Kabir Khan’s take on a RAW agent is very close to real, but, at the same time, it’s not a docu-drama. Nor is the agent a clone of Jason Bourne or James Bond. Like I pointed out at the outset, it’s desi at heart. Also, clever, amusing and thoroughly entertaining.
Kabir Khan’s direction is thoughtful, focused and never goes off-track. In fact, EK THA TIGER takes the detective genre in Hindi movies to a fresh altitude. Besides, Kabir and co-writer Neelesh Mishra open the cards gradually and the highpoint is the interval point when Salman unravels something shocking. Post interval, the film throws one surprise after another and it reaches its crescendo in the concluding stages, with the climax making a solid impression.
EK THA TIGER travels across the globe to capture some of the most exotic locales in the world and the DoP [Aseem Mishra] captures them with flourish. EK THA TIGER has a pleasant score [Sohail Sen, Sajid-Wajid]. ‘Mashallah’ is the pick of the lot, followed by ‘Banjara’ and ‘Laapata’. The stunts are truly crackling. In fact, the action sequences are of the heart-in-the-mouth variety and if one may add, such stunts and chases have never ever been witnessed on the Hindi screen before. The dialogue is intelligent and sharp.
Blemishes? Not really, but, yes, the leisurely unfurling of the love story in the first hour slackens the narrative occasionally. Since the sequences are so cute and the fact that the ones performing them are Salman and Katrina, one doesn’t really mind it, actually.
When you have Salman in a movie titled EK THA TIGER, the director doesn’t need to convince the audience that he is a tiger. Salman looks the part! Clutching the thriller with his dynamic presence and performance, Salman is, without doubt, the lifeline of this film. He pulls off the part with flamboyance. Also, he brings in so much visceral rousing energy to the film, every time he appears on the screen. Salman and Katrina pair up after a hiatus in EK THA TIGER and their chemistry is electrifying. Though an out-and-out Salman starrer, Katrina is not relegated to the backseat. Neither is she Salman’s arm candy here. She has a meaty part and to her credit, she handles it with aplomb. Also, watch out for her stunts… This is a new Katrina here!
Girish Karnad is excellent. Ranvir Shorey is first-rate. His scenes with Salman are truly wonderful. Roshan Seth is adequate.
On the whole, EK THA TIGER is a high-octane thriller that works big time. This one has style and substance, both, besides dazzling action, stunning international locales and stylish execution. Most importantly, it has Salman Khan, the trump card of this enterprise. There’s no denying that Salman’s charisma has resulted in a mind-blowing, astounding, never-seen-before start at the ticket window, but the film’s content will sustain it thereafter. The film has long legs to prolong its splendid run. This is, without doubt, Salman’s best. Sure shot Blockbuster!

Windows 8 version is here...

Windows 8 is the codename for the upcoming version of Microsoft Windows that follows Windows 7.It features a new Metro-style interface that is designed for touchscreen, mouse, keyboard, and pen input. It also adds support for the ARM processor architecture in addition to the previously supported x86 microprocessors from Intel and AMD. Its server counterpart is codenamed Windows Server 8. A release date for the finished version of Windows 8 has not yet been announced, the most recent prerelease version is the (Consumer Preview), which was released on February 29, 2012.

After the release of Windows 7 which didn't make much fame with tablets, this release of their is aimed for PC's and tablets. I have got some features (maybe rumored) so that you know what you can expect for,

Starting with Robust USB 3.0 support
Now with some info about USB, the first USB specification, defined two speeds in data transfer, Slow Speed 1.5 Mbps and Full Speed 12 Mbps, while this was in 1996, in 2000, USB 2.0 was introduced, which had a high speed of 480 Mbps, and in 2008 we had USB 3.0 introduced. This can support a data transfer about 5 Gbps. To be saying this in simple language you could copy a High Definition movie in about 80 seconds which used to take 15 minutes in USB 2.0 port. Amazing I say :)

Moving towards to our usual basics, Copy, Move, Rename and Delete functions.
Whenever we started copying files, every copy function we made, a new small window used to open with some basic details of a progress bar and time required to copy, and when we continued doing this for a some files, we had our whole screen with small windows everywhere.
Windows 8 has solved it by making it
Now you can see the details of copying files in one window, so no more searching through the floating windows, you can pause some actions, so that you can prioritize copying, and also you can see the progress bar, but with a small graph and extra details. :)
While moving files and pop-ups for replacement of files when conflicts, it used to be a little confusing, of to which files are which, the new way is to select all the files you cant to keep and replaced in a simpler manner.

Fast Boot Times in Windows 8
In Windows 7 the power transitions in Shutdown operation includes restart), used to consume around 50% of the power, 40% while in sleep and about 5% in hibernation mode.
This has been improvised for most of them prefer shutting down the system than keeping the system on sleep or hibernation mode.

HTML5
Quite many of you maybe or may not be aware of the new version of HTML, which allows the web developer to go a bit more into his imaginative modes to create a better websites. Now the moment everyone has Windows8, the next step that would follow is get IE10 installed and see its features. Windows 8 provides plug-in free HTML5 feature that for giving that experience you never had before. That means you wouldnt need anymore plug-in for flash or pdf's to view the content to be more elaborate and simple

Multi Tasking
There is no use of systems and OS if there is no multi tasking feature in it, and Windows 8 has just enhanced it in a better way. Now you can have two apps running and sen on the screen at the same time, with a dividing line in between which can be adjusted to maximize or minimize the screen of the app you want to see more or less.

Customizable Start Screen
We had start buttons in ancient times, now its something new. Windows 8 has come out with tiles on the start screen which you can customize to what you want to do usually, without too much of movement. You can just Drag-&-Drop to customize your tiles on the start screen! Talk about making human more lazy even while using the system

Improvised Task Manager
Not everyone's need, but most of them do play around with Task manager, the 8 version of Windows has come out with more details for you in your task manager, so that you can manage your tasks more optimally.

I can keep going on like this with features after features, but that would never end, and also spoil the surprising discovery of yourself. The developers at Microsoft have worked on well to come out with a better product this time, but only time can tell, how well it will click with users.

AGNEEPATH - Super Hit !

Agneepath (Hindi: अग्निपथ; English: Path of Fire) is a 2012 Indian Hindi action thriller film produced by Karan Johar. It is a remake of the 1990 film of the same name and is directed by Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra. Though publicized as a remake; the film borrows only the basic plot of the original, while making the characters and incidents completely different. The title of the film is taken from a poem of the same name called 'Agneepath' which was penned by Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Amitabh's father, and is recited at the beginning of the movie and creates a thematic link that continues through the movie, particularly in the climax, both literally and metaphorically.
While Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role of  Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, Sanjay Dutt plays the role of the main antagonist Kancha Cheena, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa respectively. The film stars Priyanka Chopra as the female lead. Other members of the cast include Rishi Kapoor playing a newly introduced negative character, Om Puri and Zarina Wahab among others. The award winning character of Krishnan Iyer M.A played by Mithun Chakraborty in the original has been totally done away with. Shooting of the film mostly took place in Diu and Mumbai's film city. Originally slated for release on 20 January, Agneepath was postponed by a week to 26 January 2012, making it a Republic Day release. Upon release, the film broke the highest opening day collections record and became a critical and commercial success.

Critical reception:

The movie opened to highly positive reviews from critics. According to review aggregator Review Gang, professional critics have given the film a rating of 6.5 out of 10
Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama gave the film a score of 4.5 out of 5, and said "Agneepath is an uncomplicated story of revenge, is hard-hitting yet entertaining, dwells on strong emotions and aggressive and forceful action, yet is dissimilar from the original. ... It is a fitting tribute to the masterwork." Subhash K.Jha of IANS gave it 4 out of 5 stars, pointing "Every component of the film falls into place, with a resounding thump. Agneepath is brilliant in its brutality. It's a riveting and hectic homage to the spirit of the cinema when revenge reigned supreme. And content was King. This new Agneepath takes us back to the era when there was no computer or cellphones. And communication with the audience was immediate and electrifying." Kaveree Bamzai of India Today rated the movie 4 out of 5, noting "Melodramatic, choir-inducing sentiment, ecstatic.Agneepath is that rare mainstream movie written well." Aniruddha Guha of DNA India gave the film 3.5 out of 5, reviewing "An adaptation rather than a remake, the film assumes a life of its own once the central plot has been established... the film then charts a journey of his own." Piyali Dasgupta of NDTV gave it 3.5 out of 5, stating "Watch this film because this one is unadulterated Bollywood entertainment.Daily Bhaskar gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars, adding "On the whole, Agneepath totally rests on star power which will lure the cine-goers to halls but how far will it impress them remains to be seen."The Times of India too gave the film 3.5 stars out of 5, and said, "Try to wipe out the movie's earlier version from your mind. You might find it more enjoyable."
Sukanya Varma of Rediff gave it 3 out of 5, commenting "Agneepath, less of a remake, more of a tribute. The makers of Agneepath should have just called it Dharmapath."Kunal Guha of Yahoo.com gave the movie 3 out of 5 stars, saying that " The biggest dilemma of remaking a movie is how much to retain and what to retain. If the new story takes violent shifts, you lose the audience who came to revisit the original. If you photocopy scene-by-scene, you risk failing to connect with the audience who is accustomed to present sensibilities. The only safe bet: a ‘khichdi’ of the past and the present, like this one."Mansha Rastogi of Nowrunning gave the movie 3 out of 5 stars, writing that "Much against some flaws, Agneepath deserves to be lauded for performances and should be encouraged for a very convincing remake to a cult classic.Mayank Shekhar of Hindustan Times gave the movie 3 out of 5 stars remarking "This is the kind of genuine theatre experience, now getting rare, which remains most precious in the life of a film-goer. Reason can take over later. I had a ball!" Sonia Chopra of Sify gave it 3 out of 5, mentioning "Debut director Karan Malhotra shows great promise in making the film visually arresting and maintaining the consistency of performances. But remaking a cult film means you have big shoes to fill. If you’re a loyalist of the Late Mukul Anand’s Agneepath, you’re likely to have reservations with this one. But if you leave the comparisons aside and are willing to forgive the faults, Agneepath is worth a watch essentially to savor Hrithik’s performance."[28] Rajeev Masand of CNN-IBN gave the Agneepath 3 out of 5, said "It is in the end, an old-fashioned revenge drama treated in that melodramatic, over-the-top style. You're not likely to be bored by the intense action and the solid performances, but prepare to be exhausted by just how long this film plays on."
